Huffington Post’s Arthur Delaney calls for a Con-Con (U.S Constitutional Convention by The People as per Article 5). In the second paragraph he wrote:
"It’s time to take matters into our own hands to enact a constitutional amendment that once and for all declares that we the people govern our elections and campaigns, not we the corporations," said Rep. Donna Edwards (D-Md.) in a video produced by a coalition of progressive groups led by Public Citizen and Voter Action.

Contrary to fear mongering by supporters of the status quo, the Founders were quite rational in planning on the mechanism to correct abuses of power.

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate. |

In the LARGE PICTURE
In the LARGE PICTURE, we have a culture where people want to maximize profits and "their" freedoms while minimizing "their" responsibilities. Thus corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partners are all "lawful" entities to limit responsiblity called "risk" for the capitalists… DO NOT CONFUSE right and wrong with what is legal! It’s not just the insurance corporations… In the BIG PICTURE, the United States needs a grassroots initiated Constitutional convention to end the many abuses of power and healthcare reform is but one.

The Deity Cop Out Problem.

I am a mystic scientist, United Church of Christ Universalist that believes there is "that of God" in everyone and each of us does "evil to others."
All "good or evil" is somebody’s judgment.
The reason I dislike some "Christians" worshiping a deity is that it gets them off the hook. "The reason" that Jesus started a great movement is that he was "The Son of God," never mind that he is quoted as saying, "I am the son of man."
Jesus’s nonviolent movement has largely been stolen my bullies.
